On the wall, level, cables hidden. One visit.
A TV on the wall is one of those jobs that looks easy until the drill is in your hand. Which anchors, where the studs hide, what a 65 inch screen weighs, what happens if you miss. TV mounting is a standard job for me, and I bring the right mount if you have not bought one yet.
What the job includes
- Studs located and the mount bolted into framing, not just drywall
- Fixed, tilt, or full motion mounts, yours or one I supply
- Screen leveled and centered where you actually watch it
- Cables tucked into a paint matched raceway so the wall stays clean
- Soundbars and streaming boxes hung and plugged in
- Old TV taken down and holes patched if you are upgrading
Tile, plaster, and the block walls common in older desert homes all take different anchors. Send me a photo of the wall and the TV size and I will quote it right the first time.
What it costs
One flat number from your photos before I start, and TV mounting lands nowhere near the $1,000 line. Add a second TV or a few other small jobs to the same visit and the trip earns its keep.
I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit. If you want a new outlet added behind the screen, that part is licensed electrician work and I will say so before anyone drills.
Other jobs I take all the time: Ceiling Fans, Faucets, Toilet Repair, Garbage Disposals. One visit can cover several, and I work across the whole valley, see where I work.

FAQ
Customers frequently ask
Can you mount a TV over a fireplace?
Usually yes, and I will tell you if the wall or the heat makes it a bad idea. Send a photo of the fireplace wall and the TV size and I will quote it straight.
Do you hide the cables inside the wall?
I run them in a slim raceway painted to match the wall. Cutting the wall open and adding an outlet behind the TV is licensed electrician work, so I stay with the clean surface route.
What if I have not bought a mount?
I bring one rated for your TV size and the price rides along in the quote. If you already bought one, I install yours.
