Furniture Assembly

The boxes in the garage are not going to build themselves.

Flat pack furniture is designed to survive shipping, not to be pleasant to build. I put it together square, tight, and fast, and I anchor the tippy stuff to the wall so it stays put. This is also the page for everything that needs hanging level.

What I build and hang

• Beds, dressers, desks, bookcases, and office chairs
• Patio furniture, umbrellas, and outdoor storage boxes
• Grills and fire pits assembled and checked
• Tall furniture strapped to the wall, non negotiable with kids around
• Shelves, mirrors, and heavy art hung level into solid anchors
• Curtain rods and blinds mounted straight

What it costs

Flat quote per piece, and assembly work never gets near the $1,000 line. A whole room of boxes in one visit is where the trip really pays for itself. Send photos of the boxes or the online listing and I will quote it sight unseen.

I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit. Assembly never tests that ceiling, but I put it on every page so you always know the rules I work under.
