Desert sun turns screens to powder. I make them new again.
A few summers of valley sun and screen mesh gets brittle enough to poke a finger through, and then the first windstorm finishes the job. Torn screens let in the dust and the bugs and make the whole house look tired from the street. Rescreening is cheap and I do it by the batch.
What the job includes
- Window screens rescreened with new mesh and spline
- Sun blocking solar mesh available, it earns its keep out here
- Sliding patio door screens rescreened, rollers and tracks fixed
- Bent or crumbling frames rebuilt to size
- Pet resistant mesh for the door the dog goes through
- Screens pulled, redone, and rehung, you do not lift a thing
What it costs
Flat price per screen, cheaper per unit when I do the whole house in one visit, and even a full house of screens stays under the $1,000 line. Count your torn screens, snap a photo of the worst one, and I will quote the batch.
I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit. Screens never test that ceiling, but I put it on every page so you always know the rules I work under.
Other jobs I take all the time: TV Mounting, Ceiling Fans, Faucets, Toilet Repair. One visit can cover several, and I work across the whole valley, see where I work.

FAQ
Customers frequently ask
Is solar screen mesh worth it here?
On west and south facing windows, yes. It blocks a real share of the heat before it hits the glass, which the AC notices every afternoon. I will tell you which windows earn it and which do not.
My patio door screen jumps the track. New screen?
Usually the rollers are shot or the track is bent, not the screen. I fix both, and if the mesh is also tired I rescreen it in the same visit for a little more.
How fast do screens come back?
Most rescreens happen on site the same visit. Frames rebuilt from scratch can take a second trip, and I will tell you which yours needs from the photos.
